In terms of the World Growing With Technology, Artificial Intelligence will keep on be playing an important role in developing human life better play. Since this has become a hype around students and everybody is willing to get their heads involved in this field, and in this blog, I'm going to give a simple child's introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
INTRODUCTION :
Artificial intelligence is intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality. eg, IRON MAN, TERMINATOR, (I, ROBOT), ENTHIRAN…which helps you to get into the world of AI.
It implies making the machines think by and making to decide by themselves is simply called Artificial Intelligence.
Since Humans are already good at Decision making, there are still many situations where humans cant decide by themselves, this is where it comes into the picture to make the situation better.
To put it into a box, AI is simply another Human Intelligence(Brain) given to a computer machine.
WHY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE :
Artificial intelligence is intelligence that enhances the speed, precision, and effectiveness of human efforts, At the same time, it can do Multitasking by itself.
As already mentioned it is used to assist humans in all manner ie, a secretary or like assistance which helps you to see better insights in the way you are going. Eg, Jarvis assisting Tony Stark, Chitti assisting Vasikaran, etc…
With the help of AI, humans can do better decision-making with quick and effectively solving of the situation.
TYPES OF AI :
There are 3 types of artificial intelligence (AI):
- Narrow or weak AI — (Weak artificial intelligence is artificial intelligence that implements a limited part of the mind, or, as narrow AI, is focused on one narrow task.) which simply explains concentrating only on assisting human tasks, ie, Goal-oriented.[Under Human Intelligence] Example: Chatbots, Machine learning solved problems, Stock market prediction, etc.
- General or strong AI — (Artificial general intelligence is the hypothetical ability of an intelligent agent to understand or learn any intellectual task that a human being can.)which simply explains concentrating on a complex task which humans can also solve.[Matches Human Intelligence] Example: AI playing games, Self-driving Cars, etc.
- Artificial superintelligence. — (A superintelligence is a hypothetical agent that possesses intelligence far surpassing that of the brightest and most gifted human minds.)which simply explains the complex tasks that can’t even be solved by humans hypothetically. [Surpasses Human Intelligence] Example: Terminator,(I, ROBOT).

APPLICATIONS OF AI :
AI in Healthcare
- Healthcare Industries is applying it to make a better and faster diagnosis than humans. AI can help doctors with diagnoses and can inform when patients are worsening so that medical help can reach the patient before hospitalization.
AI in Gaming
- AI can be used for gaming purposes. The AI machines can play strategic games like chess, where the machine needs to think of a large number of possible places.
AI in Robotics:
- Artificial Intelligence has a remarkable role in Robotics. Usually, general robots are programmed such that they can perform some repetitive task, but with the help of AI, we can create intelligent robots which can perform tasks with their own experiences without pre-programmed.
AI in Entertainment
- We are currently using some AI-based applications in our daily life with some entertainment services such as Netflix or Amazon. With the help of ML/AI algorithms, these services show the recommendations for programs or shows.
AI in E-commerce
- AI is providing a competitive edge to the e-commerce industry, and it is becoming more demanding in the e-commerce business. It is helping shoppers to discover associated products with recommended size, color, or even brand.
AI in education:
- AI can automate grading so that the tutor can have more time to teach. AI chatbot can communicate with students as a teaching assistant. In the future, AI can work as a personal virtual tutor for students, which will be accessible easily at any time and at any place.
